The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with a second child. I love good news and I remember those days fondly, and felt like really special. A family member of mine is pregnant at the moment, and hormones are running high which prompted me to wonder what it would be like to announce your pregnancy on the same day that the news told us about the new royal bun in the oven, that must be so annoying – the best distraction is of course….competitions!
We should all be expecting a lot of brands to be joining the royal baby bandwagon – that can only be a good thing for us! I’ve been on the lookout for competitions to guess the gender of the baby and so far very little – but as soon as the first one jumps in, others will follow suit. For now, there are some really fantastic baby competitions, here are some of the best I’ve found – let us know if you can trump them!
Best of the Best Baby Prizes
WIN A CAR! There’s a great competition running at the moment via the Tesco Baby Club. The prize is a spacious Peugeot 2008 Crossover and it’s a simple e-mail entry so easy to enter. You have plenty of time as it closes on the 22nd September. More details for you here: http://www.tesco.com/babyclub/my_club/competitions/win_a_peugeot_2008_crossover_car.page
Win Tickets to The UK’s Biggest and Best Baby and Toddler Show at EventCity! Shows are ideal times to grab promotional priced items that are new to the market. Some retailers run competitions that are only for attendees, so make sure if you go to one of these, be sure to take your camera and a pen! Most attendees are looking to become stockists, and therefore your chances of winning are higher for all the juicy competitions. Win Nursery furniture: A Limited Edition Petite French Armchair – it’s gorgeous! It would make such a nice addition to any nursery, and afterwards, I’d use it as bookreading chair – and forbid the kids to touch it! Haha. Only Joking, or…am I? Anyway, it closes on 30th September, so plenty of time to enter, link is here: http://www.alisonathome.com/get-inspired/win-a-limited-edition-petite-french-armchair-2/
I’m still really looking forward to how inventive promoters get with the royal baby arrival. Maybe they will merely duplicate what has gone before, but I really hope they don’t. I’d love really funny competitions that challenge you to draw a royal baby with your eyes closed or something like that! What baby competitions do you like the best? Let us know in the comments below!
